Artist Alaa Al-Baldawi from Iraq

he was born in Bagadad 1967 , graduated (B.S) 1992 from the university of Bagadad in fine Art. His childhood experience and life growing up around war and violence had a huge role to play in his work.

But just like The Gathering, Market Day delivers a vibrant colour palette and wonderful movement that draws you into the feeling of  the hustle and bustle, as people going about their business in the market place.
